While I don’t disagree that companies will try to squeeze artists to get it done cheaper, translations and images are not the same thing.
If an error is spotted in an image you need a highly skilled artist who can imitate the specific style chosen to fix it without introducing other obvious errors, and it will still

Whether they review or not wont change anything.
The problem is; if they do review it they *will* find the issues.
They will always be there to be found, and then what?

Then they either have to have an actual digital artist with skills in imitating that specific style to fix the problems - and at that point it’s going

And that’d be a great point if media literacy wasn’t what it was. See male responses to Fight Club and Joker for reference.
Maybe this is one vice we’d be fine to do away with and let all his other flaws do the work.

Baldur’s Gate 3.... getting time to play it past Act 1 😭

Twitch is explicitly marketed at and financially dependent on underage viewers, and there is an implicit promise to parents that its a relatively “safe” platform for kids to go to.

Reminder for people looking at the numbers:
$54 million is less than 0.08% of 69 billion.

The funny thing about that observation, is that originally players didn’t want multiplayer in ME3. It felt tacked on, and many people felt that it was a super weird move, and strictly for money, back then.
It’s only after it was shown to actually be pretty good, that people warmed to it.

Good. Next.

I wonder how much of the budget and time goes to worthless unrelated Hollywood cameos that could have been cut with nobody but Geoff giving a shit. And yeah, his Kojima stiffie the rest of us are getting pretty tired of seeing.

I had few issues playing on PC. I think there was one sidequest that bugged so I had to reload, and then the odd weird ragdoll or NPC in the way. That was about it. Definitely wasn’t one of the buggiest game I’ve played this year, and that’s after 300 hours with it.

Twitter (X, whatever)

You have 2 hours to refund, and often when there are controversial games they don’t even hold you to that, you can get the refund if you’re over that anyway.

What he does next will show whether he’s an idiot or not.

Sony didn’t back the development/studio financially, HG only used Sony for their marketing. They were independently funded.
And people weren’t very forgiving; a lot of people did ask for refunds. Steam even allowed people to refund it even though you’d played more than 2 hours as an exception.
Furthermore The Day Before

Hey, you got a step closer than I did.
I just heard “hard pacifist run is the only way to go” and thought “Ok, fuck it then” and never played.

I really really hope the launch goes better for them this time 🤞

I’d be pretty confident answering “Yes”, to that question.

The Ghoul looks pretty good.
I can see why they didn’t go with the Harold Looks.

But is it just me or do too many things look way too bright, clean and/or pristine? I mean props to them if the people finally found a broom - but brand new, flawless, spotless, ironed shirts in the wasteland (0:46 for example)?
ANY amount

As Jerykk eloquently explained in the post above, it doesn’t really matter what chicanery Warner is up to, if Sony writes contracts to protect their customers. Which they haven’t if Warner can force them to remove content from users who has bought it.

I’m in OP’s boat, but I do recognize that there’s definitely a genetic component, because I’ve used one maybe a handful of times in my 40+ years, meanwhile I know people that almost start bleeding if they go a day without.
That said, it seems to me that there’s a strong habitual/social component as well, and maybe a
