I loved BG/BG2/IWD but man, PS:T really stuck. I didn’t even like the setting that much, especially visually, but the game and the characters were just so good

I LOVE reading patch notes, but I hate reading the spoilers inherrent to them :’(
The struggle is real.
I’m just hoping they learn how to use a goddamned broom
There’s a difference between them being nominally aware, and the products being in the news cycle. But we’ll see, I guess.
Wow. What a load of You know it’s really the end product of providing a lot of really high quality nutrients to the strongest male bovines, and you know that can be seen as a good thing, but in the end it’s complicated to answer what the real result is, and-

I can’t help wondering if getting focus on this might bite him in the ass though. What’s the likelyhood that the inside design of the phones he and dbrand took pictures of are copyrightable? And that Apple/Samsung etc. are now aware of them being used...
It’s kind of weird, because I did NOT like roguelikes originally, I wanted significant progress to stay with you like you do... but for some reason Slay the Spire specifically clicked with me and in turn opened me up to that way of playing. I’m at 500 hours, and while I stopped playing it a long time ago, I have many…
I’ve adobted a hybrid of the model Jerykk suggests, and a “support the devs” model.
Sometimes I’ll buy a game I think looks really cool or does something novel well, but I know I wont play soon or maybe ever - to support the team behind the game. This is mainly for indie games.
I’ve rewired my brain to think of my game…
If that was all they cared about they would have thrown the case out... which is not what happened.
This is tried in the UK CAT btw. - not the US. And to my understanding sometimes “everyone does it” doesn’t necessarily hold up in court, if it’s deemed an “bad” practice that simply hasn’t been challenged legally…
They should rework it simply because it’s straight ugly and amateurish design.
* That mainly applies to older games. These days (especially for AAA) you put in the disc, install, and have to download a giant patch anyway - and then you play. If anything physical media is an extra hindrance, especially on PC.
Add that physical media get damaged, lost, and degrades with time.

You’re not wrong. It is a lot easier to just get the Steam version too though, and I’ve considered doing the same since I don’t mind supporting them twice for a game this good anyway.

Personally - as someone who plays a lot of adult games - I’m quite happy with this addition.
But honestly the real benefit is people being able to keep their private details private. Not everyone wants everyone else to know that they have a lot of gay content in their library for example, and some have extremely good…
Ah I see it now. The OLED is not the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition is an OLED.
The OLED’s are available everywhere, the Limited Edition “with a smoky translucent colorway” is only available in the US/CA. Got it.
Weird that they only specify US and Canada - not just for launch time, but also as a requirement for purchase. It’s opening for sales on the same day here in EU as well... “Available November 16 at 07 PM GMT+1”
I think you’re going to have to make a bigger sign for them, I don’t think they’ve spotted it yet. Try using neon.
Most people who’s asked me that question have gone on to verbally lynch me for not picking 7.
What’s the point of asking, if there’s only one possible answer?
Sounds like a super solid 1.5 - makes me excited for the inevitable(?) 2.0!
I won’t be replacing my old one for this, but it seems like some solid improvements.
I don’t think we can pin it on EA. I distinctly remember one of the BioWare founders (I think it was Greg) saying very clearly, well after his retirement, that EA gave them enough rope to hang themselves with.
