TV opinions are only going to get more fractured and personalized from here on out, and I find that really exciting. Though some may be at sea without having some objective authority to look up to.

It's not picking nits, it's just hyperbole. I'm saying Sense8 is the first to focus on it and literalize it in that specific way that highlights why friendship is such an integral part of our lives. Ok, so it's not the first to literally be "about the power of friendship", sorry #1 One Piece fan, I just wanted to

Yeah, I didn't mind waiting that long cause I still found it really fascinating until that point, but idk if I can in good conscious recommend someone have the same patience as me with the chance it won't have the same payoff.

Look around, look around, at how lucky we are to be alive right now.

Sense8 and Mr. Robot season 2 cause I have NO FUCKING CLUE what those are going to look like and I'm really excited to see. Also, Steven Universe is just getting bigger and bigger mythology wise, that's gonna be exciting.

Gravity Falls had it's best year ever, maybe it's hurt by the grand finale being delayed to 2016. The back run of season 2 has been straight gold though, I love the presence J.K. Simmons added to the cast.

Same feeling, though I haven't seen season 2 and probably never will. I'm just really uncomfortable about the show positioning itself as The Trans Show, but still centering it on all those cis characters that I also don't particularly care for.

I've never even heard of Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter. *one Google search later* OF COURSE it's a weird adult swim thing.

That's too funny! I can't remember when I've heard a funnier Simpsons quote!

Ur worst nightmare

The show doesn't really come into its own until episode 4, after which it becomes a very different animal (problem of designing the season as a 12 hour movie), but it's hard to say if you'll still like it then. I guess if you weren't clicking with the characters it's still just not going to work for you.

You obviously don't know me very well if you think you need to condescendingly explain anime to me. Anyways, my point was the focus of Sense8 is on the power of having a friend, someone to confide in and support you at any time, not the imaginary powerups you get from it.

Death of the author!

It's shining empathy and humanistic nature is such a great quality I want more TV to have.

I need to watch it first! I loved the first season but there was not room to watch season 2 last year and that's still where I am.

I thought she did to herself, driven mad by human flesh withdrawal. It's a bit of a metaphorical interpretation I guess.

Only in the other canons IMO.

I can't believe it took nearly a century of superhero stories for someone to realize the greatest superpower was friendship. I mean literally, the ability to have a friend at your side at any time who will listen to you and help you out (sometimes with badass martial arts). It's such a beautiful, uplifting concept,

They both become the animals they were inside all along, just what Hannibal wanted, just what Will feared, and Will knew what he had to do to save the people he loved. So much with so little said. I really don't want a season 4 because this ending is so perfect, sue me.

Very tempting, but come on, that's the APEX of ball kicks. No cinematic ball kick will be better. The part where he begs to be kicked again absolutely destroys me.
