Stupid show, burning through potential companions like that.

Actually, Review had the much larger lead time, since it has a smaller cable budget so a smaller crew. This episode would have been started in May and shot sometime in the summer, maybe as recent as August. Cable shows are usually shot and finished months before they make it to TV.

Well that's the point, they didn't follow through with the promise so his back story looks ridiculous.

He's supposedly an incarnation so terrible the Doctor refuses to acknowledge him, but if all he really did was kill a few Daleks that puts him pretty morally on par with the rest. It's also just a ridiculous retcon.

That's why I'm really excited!

She's their Romana III, and that's the extent I know.

This is awesome on itself, but doubly awesome for making the rumored Ten/Donna boxset even closer to reality

John Hurt was so good (in addition to top form from Tennant, Smith, and Piper) I'm really quick to excuse a lot of that special.

The War Doctor is a terrible idea, John Hurt playing The Doctor though is a great idea, and maybe they'll focus more on the latter and gloss over the former.

How is the Juliet Landau Romana anyways?

Brewster's delivery of "Peepers! Unbutton those trousers!" still…what's the good version of "haunts", cause it still does that to me.

The lows are low, but it has some of the show's best jokes in it too. So I'd say it's worth it.

It's more creative, but it's also what happens 9/10 times such a scenario comes up.

So's his, so it's appropriate.

I mean, certainly more than the alternative.

3 seasons is 156 episodes, so yeah, that seems fair.

What makes CoE unique though is it's not a feint to increase tension, they actually go through with it.

Being in a different country will make that more difficult, but I guess it is possible.

It's like a reverse John Nathan-Turner.

Yeah, they probably WOULD be moist.
