I was dying with laughter throughout these two episodes. The characters have always felt consistent to me, but I think the energy from the future conceit has given the show a drive and focus that the last two seasons were missing and replaced with a lot of gooey sentimentality instead. Not that I don't like that (gosh

No Shauna Malwae-Tweep?!

The other basic broadcast channels: ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX

Also gonna second the CW love. In addition to its stellar superhero work, The 100 and Jane the Virgin are both brilliant. It's an easy contender for the best broadcast network at this point.

Well if Gunsmoke can run for two decades who's to stop the Winchester bros?

I did too, but I felt like they cut out the punchline of that being an awful idea.

I know all that stuff, I was just pointing out why a writing staff change like Franco suggested wouldn't work, at least not directly.

Oh like there's not 100 simple, funny well done shows on television already. What's wrong with wishing for a great, funny, overachieving show to justify the time spent watching on it when there could be better options? Besides, isn't it the job of the reviewer to express their own opinion, not the one you want to hear?

Dan Fogleman solo penned the first three episodes, and then didn't write any more. Given how solid episode four was, I think we're about to learn who the problem is here, and sadly why it's going to be hard to correct for future seasons.

That's exactly what came to mind for me too, no prize for guessing which song I think is the better one.

Pirates stuck on land: just the right amount of whimsy.

Yeah, episode's 3 ending caught me way off guard, cause Sid realized he should tell his parents the truth and then…end! No fallout or anything! The show is seriously hurting for time each half hour.

I was hard on the community theater vibe last week, but rewatching the first hour and then this hour has made me fall in love with it. It's the just the silly little show that could.

He's building a resume that will get him that sweet Pirates of the Caribbean money.

All the other songs have been eh to only good for the most part, the initial "Togetherness" number of episode 4 was great. Catchy and bouncy tune that this time had a little more to it with the mood shift, but the real star was the fantastic expressions and emotion put into it by the cast. Very funny stuff, and I

A fair sacrifice in order to get a group of heroes that are gorgeous and diverse.

There was definitely an overreaction, because people feel the need to have very loud and extreme opinions in order to be noticed. But they're still bland hours of television. Not awful, not offensive, just very boringly bland. The show does not leave a good first impression, on me or anyone else I've exposed to it.

I recommend skipping around only from experience, you do not know the frustration I feel when so many of my friends bail on SHIELD after five or six episodes. That run of episodes from two until the train one just felt very clumsily written. A lot of slack action and writing cliches. I still don't believe it got this

Yeah, it's a comforting, fun show.
