I was thinking more in terms of dialog and conventions, along with visuals and design. SHIELD leans heavily on writing shortcuts and cliches, probably necessary since they have to juggle so many characters and plot points, but the show has yet to really dazzle me with mold breaking. Ditto for its visual palette, which

Counterpoint: North.

YES. 10 11-minute episodes, that's under two hours, you have no excuse.

It's probably because I've grown attached to the characters so much, but the fall season closing two parter SHIELD did had me riveted. But then Agent Carter is probably going to surpass that soon, now that the ball's rolling.

A super tense, well directed episode filled w/ double crosses that's still the show's high watermark, followed by a comfortable B-level groove.

SHIELD is fun, boilerplate TV. There's tons of better shows, but spy-fi is completely unrepresented on TV outside of the (superior so far) Carter companion series, so there's a niche it fills for me, and I'm happy to watch it. They're also slowly introducing more supers in season 2, and it's fun to see the team come

Hah, I just picked up the second printings of End Game, Tides of Time, and Betrothal of Sontar as well with my Christmas money. Hope to eventually have a complete Panini volume collection. I'm not usually the collector type, it's all material goods y'know, but those printed editions are just sooooo good. I tried

I'm think at least the Who episode was in the IMAX format, but you could be right.

"First TV series shown in IMAX" y'know, except for Doctor Who and Star Trek. But EVERYONE'S making this bizarre mistake today, so I won't make another crack about David O. Russell here.

Literally every other site is reporting Gambit's release date as 2016, so fact check that. Though I suppose we should be thankful you guys didn't credit it to David O. Russell this time.

Gotta love Nintendo. Sure they put out only a fifth of the high profile games of the others, but those few releases are always guaranteed quality. Though I'd never recommend owning just a Wii U (the slow release schedule is damning if you only have money for one console), I don't know what I'd do without it.

Reportedly she has a female friend who's a main character, but I have no idea how important/badass she is.

Yes yes yes yes yes

I haven't seen it, but I know I probably will love it, so that doesn't fully discount your theory.

I've seen five episodes of this show and I love it. Strange, surreal humor and earnest, lovely romance are both right up my alley, and I'm entranced with how this show weds the two together.

His second chance has been dead for years.

Fingers super crossed for that.

RIP Aldis Hodge's chance at a career. ;.;

It's literally correct though. Why don't we continue to use English words correctly and you just take a few mental seconds to change your expectations?

Haha, I suppose that is a ridiculous visual, though if it helps
