Has a non-sci-fi show structured around alternate realities been done before? Like the alternate timeline episodes of Community or Malcolm in the Middle, only serialized.

For like two seconds in either the pilot or second episode I was super excited with the idea that they'd explore alternate realities. Then I realized they weren't and was disappointed from there on out.

I still have the midseason finale sitting in my hulu queue, I really have to be in the right mindset. There's a lot of elements working, but it can be so drab at times.

I'm not even kidding, that would be great. It's a well plotted show with a few interesting characters, but it definitely needs some more personality or weirdness to help stand out. Getting a robot arm wouldn't magically fix its problems, but it would help me pay attention more.

I miss Happy Endings.

Yeah, sadly. I guess it can be off-putting, but I still don't think it really gets its due in the critic world. It should be a list topper not, 5-15 rank filler.

God, that would make such a better show, and I say that as a fan of HtGAwW.

I mean….yeah, it'd be nice. Though obviously all colors of gay would be even better.

Hannibal is Breaking Bad level IMO, and it has an Asian character. Well….
