The cops that create a fireball of terror, destroying property, are the more restrained and humane ones. Imagine that.

Do you have an associated Funky Bunch too?

Holt'd probably lose his mind with laughter, or his brand of it, too considering this is the man who finds the Wuntch-lunch connection hilarious.

Seconding this. Watching this show I honestly forget that this fictional NYPD and the real NYPD are supposed to be the same. It says a lot about how transportive a show confident in its tone can be (and how disconnected I am from the problem at stake tbh) that I can forget about it.

I missed it until just now. If Hannibal wasn't already my favorite 2014 show, it would be now.

I could see him buying everyone perfect gifts (if he had the money) but more for the challenge of it rather than out of actual thoughtfulness.

I just want to give you props for expanding my dumb hyperbole joke into actual analysis. And yeah, it was.

The friendships on this show are SO well built and varied. I love it, there's so few of those on TV that aren't the same boilerplate types we've been seeing for years. Especially Jake and Rosa, which is quickly becoming an all time great TV friendship.

IDK if being a frequent commenter puts you on first or last name basis with the reviewer, it's a very complicated social situation.

I've been hearing about that Newsroom episode on twitter for a week now, and judging from the review it was even worse than I'd been lead to believe. I'm now never watching the show so I can keep my West Wing and Sports Night memories pure.

It's only hard to get him to do things he doesn't want to do, but he overcompensates with the things he loves. Which I guess is a pretty common trait, but the extremes Jake goes to with both makes it interesting.

Love the way Jake sarcastically reprised his "blat blat" after admitting he doesn't know how to steal a car.

Gina has a great idea, I should rehearse my reactions for this Christmas too. Wanna get my sparkle on point this year.

Well if J.P. McPickleshitter disagrees, then I guess that invalidates the whole thing! We don't even need a reason, just his word and that's all we need to convince us of his deep insight.

That moment worked so well. Beatriz gave it just the right amount of honesty so you knew how happy Diaz was, and just the right amount of discomfort, so it remained in character and hilarious.

True, at least the rest of that cast was talented (though half were stuck in terrible roles).

So far my only Broadway show, and I don't regret it, it was a treat.

Yo, Donkey Kong is the raddest. Love that game, platforming perfection.

Harsh disagree, the characters have a lot of layers to them beneath the old cliches.

I would describe Wirt as disgustingly relatable.
