It such a silly turn for the song, I love it.

Yeah, but everyone's* listening to that already.

It pisses me off that that Borle didn't play Hook because he was a fantastic Hook on Broadway for Peter and the Starcatchers. Missed opportunity.

He's also super famous though. Who knows how much he'll ask for, or whether he's shooting another Wolverine movie at the time or whatever.

Another song that only improves in the full version is A Courting Song, where it becomes very clear that the reason they're so happy about him being a young lover is because weddings keep the entire town employed.

Having that quality is really difficult difficult, lemon difficult.

"Fred's a talking horse, he can do what he wants!"
"I wanna steal."

Haha, I'm already foisting Over the Garden Wall on everyone! 12 converts and counting! It helps that animated fairy tales have way more broad appeal than a lot of my other favorite shows of the year (Hannibal, Transparent, etc.).

Theoretically both are in the works, though at this point they only exist in the form of a tech demo and a vague comment in an interview respectively.

Truth. It's a shame no one on staff seems to really care about animation, all the good ones left or migrated.

Neither Over the Garden Wall, Transparent, OR BoJack Horesman are nominated for Best New Show?? What the hell is this? I could write one in but that would be to no effect, I'd rather do what I can to help something good win over less good things (Broad City!). But still, what a major triple overlook.

I have been so hyped for this game, probably more than it deserves, but the idea of a combination puzzle and platformer that combines the challenges of both appeals to me a lot. I love the character of Captain Toad too (here's hoping he gets some dialog, cause he's so adorably egotistic). The Mario world is such a

The DS games were fine.

Man, I don't even know how to respond to this. I guess you can say whatever you want about people you don't know, but you have absolutely no evidence to make it true other than your own weird brand of self-conviction.

Omar Little from The Wire and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad also have solid ethics at the end of the day. And an anti-hero is, literally, a protagonist who lacks heroic attributes. By their nature of having moral ambiguities, those three are anti-heroes. In fact, I'd call Mal more morally ambiguous and "rotten" than

Now that I'm not about to fall asleep, I see the joke, and will keep my upvote there, cause it's a pretty good joke.

Didn't know how big her role in Chef was, maybe I'll watch that next so Under the Skin can be the big finale.

A bad season of Justified, but an alright season overall. It's probably going to crack my top 20 still.

I'm 3 for 5 on her films this year (counting Her cause no way I could see it before 2014). Hoping I can catch Under the Skin and Chef before year's end just so I get the full effect of The Year of Johanssen.

Just want to say, fantastic piece. One that really confirms my notion that this has been a great year for fun and thought provoking films.
