He was a consultant on Leverage!
As a huge Lonely Island fan: D:
Humor is subjective? I laughed at this episode a lot too, but in comparison, I'd say I laughed at this the least out of the four episodes so far. Different jokes work for different people.
I'm hoping her leading the drug taskforce doesn't fall to the wayside, it sounds like a great source of material for her.
The fact that you care about the grade means I don't think you understand grades.
This quote becomes even better in hindsight when you remember he's been planning this for a year.
I love Jake's reaction to everything he says too, you can tell he's gaining a whole bunch of respect for Holt in that moment. Though I agree with the grade and review, that scene alone is the episodes saving grace (and the dancing scenes too).

Thanks Eric, for making me feel less bad about laughing at the musical number. I know it probably upset Maura, but how could you not give a little laughter at all that energy?
Yeah, I definitely thing the subconscious seduction element is already present.
Ha, that completely slipped my mind.
Can't wait!
They've really recaptured the character here. Enough changed to let you feel she's older, but all the parts you expected to stay the same did.
