Awwww, I miss Trophy Wife now. BERT! But really, the draw for me was the three wives. Jackie and Diane were both hysterical and well drawn characters, and Malin Akerman made a good foil for both. Plus, I'll love Bradley Whitford in anything, so having him on my TV weekly certainly didn't hurt.

Sorry, I just wanted nine words in the post.

Yeah, you're right, it is absolutely impossible for comparisons or similarities to be drawn between two different things.

You fucked it up Connor! You had a good thing, and you threw it all away! This is gonna really hurt you in my power rankings.

It's at the very top of the review, dummy.

I was rolling my eyes at how much ABC was hyping those "last nine words", but let me tell you they did NOT disappoint.

Spike Jonze won my heart with Where the Wild Things Are, and considering his followup was Her, it's safe to say I'm gonna be with him for a while.

"When I say cup, you say cake!"

I'll probably still see this (if anything, that review makes me more curious) but still, daaaaaammmmmmn.

Oh, true.

Oh, when I checked out of season 3 Roberts was dead.

Maybe she didn't notice the bow until too late? That's all I got.

Yeah, that's why it's a longshot. I'm less certain of it now than I was last week.

Oh yeah, there's still a ways to go. But this episode was a huge leap forward. Like, an incredible leap, one so far it makes me seriously question what the big change is, or if Cassidy and/or her material was just that inept to begin with.

She's rockin' that look, it really complements the new murderous glint in her eyes.

I can see that given how she's been such a blah character for two seasons, but Kate Cassidy leaped far over the low bar she set for her performance this week. When she slammed that guy's arm, it was like a switch, and I totally bought her as the future Canary in that moment. This is a great new direction, though it's

THAT ENDING. I know it's technically not new information, but that didn't stop it from being so cool. And even though I know it's a longshot, I'm still thinking Thea killed Sara, just because the drama from that would be so, so rich.

Clownin' Around

Her facial expressions are perfect too, really add a lot to each of her deliveries.

So here's what gets me. Michael Chiklis finds the badge planted in his trailer and what does he do? Plant it on Jimmy and get rid of his biggest potential problem? Ditch it so the cops give up and stop suspecting them? Nope! Plant it on some random, harmless guy and sentence him to death. What. A. Dick.
