The system's so screwed it's ridiculous.

Yeah, how great was the show just throwing so many side characters at us. The teenagers were back, Sherrif Blubs and Deputy Durland, Pizza Guy, Lazy Susan, Manly Dan and Cute Biker, so many great familiar faces.
I never thought about it before, but yeah, this show would be perfect for a Ship-O-Meter. I mean, I don't have the interest anymore in doing it, but if someone put effort into it I bet it would be funny.
Yeah, and I still have a beef with him for not using that cache. I was just trying to play devil's advocate by giving his side: it would require effort and he's either too lazy or too clueless to realize he can do it if he tried. Granted, it's not a great devil's advocate, but Feige's position is that shitty.
Oh that's a good point. Wasn't something in development? I don't know.
Weirdness of premise and the ingrained sexism of these kinds of number crunchers are two separate issues. Lucy is the first female lead action movie to do really well in a long time, like since the Resident Evil movies were big, and that's all a lot of these bigwigs in Hollywood signing off on stuff will look at.
Well he'd still have to negotiate with stockholders and investors, so it's probably not easy. The fact that he's putting no effort into it though is lazy and stupid.
The tourney camp is pissed that Sakurai includes luck based elements (items, tripping, unbalanced stages) and changed the gameplay in Brawl to be slower creating a lower skill ceiling. The other camp gets paranoid about the first camp looking down on them and belittles their complaints. Naturally you suddenly have to…
I get that, and agree with your thesis but the problem comes from assuming perfectly nice people in the former camp are actually in the latter by association.
In retrospect, that's a pretty glaring oversight.
The debate over whether it's a "tourney game" or a "party game" remains one of the most unecessary pop-culture debates ever. Right behind it is every and any debate over a character's likelihood of being included. And yet thousands continue to care SO SO MUCH about getting angry about this stuff rather than caring…
Thank you for informing me of the hierarchy.
I think we reached that a couple years ago with the brony documentary.
Oh so, so true. And I feel comfortable slagging on anime fans cause I have my crunchyroll queue open in another tab.
Pretty bad. These are the guys that coined RUINED FOREVER. Though they get a bit of sympathy from me, because no fandom deserves what Michael Bay did to them.
…Huh?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised huh?
Yeah, I noticed that too. It's pretty stupid (though by nature of the word being fictional, not really as bad as those last two names).
I feel like an idiot for not putting them in my post, as a fellow Who fan I know we're a terrible fandom.
Haha, true, but who really cares as long as they enjoy it.
