I have a twitter now in case that's something other AVC users would be interested in. I certainly like now being able to keep up with you guys.

Oh, you're right it doesn't have any bearing, I was just being pedantic. On that note of pedantry, Pennsatucky wasn't even in half of season one. I rewatched it and was surprised to realize she doesn't even appear until halfway through. By default of being in around 10 or so episodes she tops her season one screentime.
This is heartbreaking news. I loved the hospital staff characters. I mean, I'm sure the show will still be great, but that really takes the wind out of my sails.
"All of a sudden"? Spambots have been here since the pre-Disqus days, back when you didn't have to register to comment. I fondly remember creating fake parody spam ads, that was fun.
Actually, maybe not! I tried looking for where I heard that and couldn't find anything, so I might have read something wrong or accidentally made it up. I sure hope I'm wrong, she was one of the best characters.
Let's Be Cops is good? If that's true, then it must have the most misleading trailer ever.
Thank you! All very good to know. I did think the doubling up worked well for this review, it was a great read.
It's a tie between The Winter Soldier and The Lego Movie for me. Both supposedly typical films that have an actual theme and message at their core that elevate them. There's a strong center to both movies, and a sense that they have something to say beyond how much money they can make for their parent companies. If…
Sadly, due to Mom commitments, she's only in the first episode. :(

Nope, 9 months. I guess they want to push it out early to capitalize on Ray Donovan's great viewership.
IIRC, only Lizzy Caplan, Beau Bridges, and Alison Janney picked up acting nominations. And as great as that is, it really needed at least a writing nomination, if not a full series nomination. That was criminal.
So pumped for more Masters of Sex. My favorite debut drama of last year. Hopefully season two expands the shows supporting class, we could all use more Jane and Lester.
I still remember people being excited that Homeland could break the "Showtime curse".
Spitballing here, but I bet the double review is because they're understaffed. Also might be why Extant and a couple other things didn't get pre-air reviews.
It didn't really seem like a show that was really about plot advancement though, you know? To me, the big hook about the show is that there isn't a big plot or conspiracy or driving action, these characters don't have anything to live for or push them, they just have to live with the new crappy world they live in and…
By "providing" I meant "providing the source material for". Stardust and Coraline are both great films. The other two are screenplays he wrote himself, and I've seen neither. Feel like I should.
Gaiman is two for two in providing good film adaptations, and both of those are personal favorites of mine. So I'm excited for this.
Baker's dozens! They come in thirteens!
I saw a clip from the finale, where they try to calculate how long it would take to masturbate an audience full of people. It was one of the funniest things I've seen all year. Makes me want to check it out someday.
