I'm not saying we should absolve him, but I do wonder how indicative Planet of the Dead really is of his work considering the tight schedule, production problems, and also probably taking a lot of input from RTD even if he did the bulk of the writing.

In about a week I'm going to graduate and have so much more free time in my life. Though I want to be caught up with current TV first, I'm definitely moving to back to Farscape soon, and I will be sure to update you whenever I watch it. It's a fantastic series, and I'm so glad this site introduced it to me.

Just looking at audios, it really is no contest. He's the best.

I always love more Doctor Who writing, and this is some of the best I've seen, and prompted some seriously great discussion. Thank you so much, Alasdair!

SPOILERS FOR "SEASONS"
I like to keep any specific details out of my reviews so anyone who picks up the story can be as surprised as I was the first time, but I'd be remiss if I didn't this bit of dialog that might be my favorite dialog in all of Who:
"Do they do orgies here?"
"Charlotte Pollard!"
"I was at an orgy once.

Colin Baker is fantastic in the story. His responses to Sally-Anne's flirting were hilarious, and the story wouldn't be the same without his pomposity. It's cliche to say, but I love how the audios have completely redeemed and glorified his Doctor.

Spinoff Corner
The spinoff corner will be moving to the Classic Who reviews after this week, reviews that resume on 5/31. So even if you haven't seen the episode Bahn will be covering that week (Ultimate Foe FYI) if you want to discuss the audios you should come there and find my post.

Yeah, sadly I'm guessing that Ford, unsurprisingly, didn't cooperate for cheap enough. Still, the fact that Han is played by the same guy who plays him for Robot Chicken sketches is an even slier joke.

I love Spectacular Spider-Man. It was my intro to most of Spider-Man's mythos and it remains the definitive version of the character for me. While you have a good complaint about Brock for the first arc, I loved his turn in season 2. Straight up crashing into the Daily Planet and shouting "Peter Parker is Spider-Man!"

That was a really great cameo, even if it did retroactively make me sad for Clone High. Probably one of the best in-jokes in the film.

BLACK HOLES

I was kinda bummed they turned down Ghostbusters 3, because if there was any possibility of that movie being good, it would be because of them.

I just got back from seeing the, yes, awesome, Lego Movie which was fun as hell.
MAJOR SPOILERS
I can't think of any other kid's movie that
A) promotes as its main lesson conformity is boring and evil
B) has a sugary, happy, Orwellian hellscape as its setting
C) ends with the protagonist meeting his gods and having a

Yeah, I've heard that from a couple people now. I'm still going to hold out hope, but even if they're right and it winds up sucking it should still be interesting to watch.

Haha weird, that's the same reason I'm still doing it too. Funny stuff.

At least I'm coming up with different insults each time, you just keep one-note harping on me being sensitive. If I'm so sensitive and you're not, then why do you keep replying to me?

I dislike their Matrix sequels still, but everything else they've done is gold. Even Speed Racer, you ask? Especially Speed Racer.

And then we will be in the Era of Pratt, and peace will spread across the world.

It probably won't be playing anywhere near me, sadly.

And you're an asshole, and I don't need stupid cliche metaphors to convey that.
