I haven't seen the first half of his filmography, but I can't imagine something resonating with me more than Moonrise Kingdom. It was the kind of book I loved as a kid, brought to unsettling life.

I do like that the show is expanding, but there is a thing as too much. I don't think we've seen Jake or BMO in any significant capacity in months, and I don't like the thought of those two being pushed more and more into the margins. On the other hand, I freakin' love the episodes Lemonhope and Root Beer Guy. I guess

Pratt and Beevers portrayed the same incarnation, so I guess that settles it.

Back that up a bit, the best 5 episode run is Vincent through to Carol.

That sounds really cool. When I looked it up, The Betrothal of Sontar is out of print, which bums me out.

I saw The Grand Budapest Hotel and it continued to stoke my love for Wes Anderson. Though I didn't love it as much as Moonrise Kingdom on this first viewing, I'm sure I need at least one other rewatch to fully pick up on any deeper themes it's trying to broach. On the surface however is a very fun film. Fiennes turns

Yeah, even a lighter touch like The Time Warrior would be nice.

This is actually the most likely future.

Or at least reveal that he has a twin brother, like we long suspected.

…Okay, maybe I'll be back on board for this. I can't possibly imagine a carnival being as boring as season 3.

Well then, egg on my face. That's still pretty cool!

"No one will be looking for Hitler's brain in a carnival! It's the perfect hiding spot!" ~ what I desperately hope someone says this season.

That looks…dense. Remind me in a year once I have my life together. :P

Sounds interesting. I recently listened to The Holy Terror, which was probably the most experimental BF story I've heard yet, and also my clear favorite. It gave me a lot of hope for what happens when Big Finish gets weird.

I like the idea, but you think he would remember saving her still.

Good to know! I've heard great things about "The One Doctor" already, so I'm looking forward to it.

Maybe it's just a Who problem then.

Space adventures! Though the style is a bit overexposed recently, and I wouldn't mind a break from it, they're still my favorite Who.

Yeah, basically. We got some really good ones though. I feel like any season now a particularly nostalgic writer will try his hand at one of them, probably not under Moffat though because his run is particularly rooted in the monsters.
