Not best finale, but "best work"? I could see an argument for the former, but how do you justify putting it above Midnight? Or Turn Left?

I've avoided rewatching End of Time out of rage, but you're like the fifth person in these threads whose willing to bat for that last scene. Maybe I should reevaluate it.

Belated Spinoff Corner

This was the first story I saw after Rose, and even not knowing what a Dalek is I still got chills because of how effective that reveal is set up.

Spike Lee just tweeted a mackerel's home address.

For the Flash, every day is leg day.

They let The Carrie Diaries die, but I think that's more of a statement about the show than the channel.

Saw this image on the same article on io9 and loved it then. I clicked this not knowing what it was and laughed even harder. It's perfect.

And I intend to keep it that way.

"Dances With Wolves" makes me ashamed that Kevin Costner is part of my namesake. Yes, even more than Waterworld.

Haha thanks.

From "James"

Thank God I've watched so much Doctor Who that this kind of crazy illogical time travel shit just doesn't phase me anymore.

They might not all be wrapped up in the season finale. The Flame Princess arc was slowly wrapped up over a season and a half. Edit: Though Wikipedia says the finale is a two parter, so you could be right.

While the frentic, off-beat pace of this story may be offputting to some, I'm gonna defend it. It really kept me on my toes, I had no idea what was going to happen next because it robbed me of my ability to read beats. I'm also sure we'll get much more emotional fallout in the episodes to come, I mean look how long

Speaking of returning minor characters, I finally got the return of Ash I've been begging for and it was two glorious seconds. I'd still like another episode with him as the main villain, but I'll take what I can get.

I think Moniyhan mentioned something about a lot of the episode being cut for time, and that Huntress Wizard was related to it. So I bet there was an extended battle.

I'm just being pedantic for the sake of pedantry. Though I'm also doubtful she'll ever come back again.

"I don't think you can do an DW episode without an epic "I am the Doctor speech" at some point."
