Overall, I prefer Les Bains Douches to much of Joy Division's studio output. Their live performances of "Disorder" and "Insight" easily transcend the studio counterparts.

Having that and "Jesus" back-to-back is almost too beautiful. The VU's third album is criminally underrated.

It's not number one, but it's on the list. Definitely a classic departure.
