If she was actually harmed in some way, I would expect support. But in this case she found out about a prior conviction and did not like that he was hired. That is fair, and the studio cut his scene (and I assume that impacts his pay). After that, there is not a lot here to lend extra support to.

I am not sure what the other actors were supposed to do here. You have this guy’s story, you have their director’s story, and you have the charges. You also have that she was upset he was there due to those prior charges, but not a claim he did anything while he as there and he was a bit player.

I agree with you, except I don’t think this is a conservative thing. If Trump, or Bannon came out endorsing some product, liberals and progressives would be burning that or dumping it in landfills too. That is just the nature of our climate these days.
