I think that is a little too simplified. From most indications, she does not write plays, which are a different animal than books. She outlined the full plot and story, some someone else turned it into a script. That is not a lot different than someone turning her books in to a film.

Eh... to each there own, but I think the biggest mistake was releasing the script in book form. It does not appear to translate well, as a lot of readers dislike it, and the vast majority of opinion on seeing the play is hugely positive.

But WHY?? It is not like the prior Snyder DC films were masterpieces and the Justice League film was divergent from the prior lauded work. The prior Snyder films generally sucked, Justice League is slightly more watchable, but the effects SUCK most of the time, which would have been the case regardless.

True, but it was an action film with typical Arnold/Stalone type quips and such. This time they are leaning much harder into the comedy, at least in the trailer. To be honest, the franchise is stale and the move to ham it up does not surprise me.
