I know, it’s almost like they think murdering an innocent person is worse than an anchor baby.

I’m not saying they pirate because it’s convenient, I’m saying when faced with a choice between pirating games or pirating (stealing) a fancy steak dinner because they want both and can only afford one, pirating games is the easier choice. But the decision to actually pirate *something* isn’t due to convenience, it’s…
Hmm, not a car guy but I figured that sort of information would be available by this point?
From the main conclusions:
You’re forgetting the 3rd person likely to choose piracy for game acquisition. Normal people. People who aren’t theoretical arguments with only a single interest they either can or can’t afford, but rather real people that have multiple interests, and not enough money to cover all of them. Why choose between either a…
That, or it implies you realized you’d could have a nice steak dinner with your girlfriend AND play the game, whereas if you couldn’t pirate it you would have just gone to Olive Garden instead.
And you are EQUALLY wrong to believe not a single pirated game would have been an actual game sold if the person couldn’t have pirated it.
Are they? This press release is *only* about the reliability scores. If you click on the link, the overall score for the Tesla is “Not Tested”. The Road Test (along with pretty much everything other than *predicted* reliability/satisaction) is “N/A”.)
Uhm... “Bread and Butter” isn’t a weird fighting term. It’s a common idiom. It’s literally in the dictionary.
Good rule of thumb:
I’m not entirely sure I agree with that... *iff* car X was faulty because it used part Y which frequently failed, I’d be inclined to argue that if car Z also uses part Y, it is probably also likely to have issues.
My mom gave up her subscription a LONG time ago too, but that’s more because she realized she can simply pop into the local library to check whichever issue she is interested in. (and yes, she’s always checked the auto issue every time she’s needed to buy a new car)
O.k. I’m curious. Which laws were broken? AFAIK it’s not illegal for somebody on the police force to follow you on twitter. Similarly, I was unaware it was illegal for police to surveil whomever they want, barring a court order for them to stop, as long as they aren’t breaking wiretapping/etc. laws. Heck, I’d expect…
That sounds about like what it should be, IMO.
I, personally, have no problems if prison is such a horrid experience that people who are there would prefer to end their own lives rather than serve out their sentence.
I’ll agree with you that it doesn’t mean we should cheer it, however it most definitely DOES mean that he deserves to die in jail.
A criminal conviction is not a mandate to strip a person of their humanity and will to live
Huh. I guess I thought they had been entirely evacuated and more or less written off as a total loss until people could rebuild. Maybe that was a different set of Caribbean islands?
Uhm.. Taking the title of the article without knowing the context behind “#IWill” sounds like you’re asking men to sexually assault/harrass women...
If we’re talking in regards to the entire country, I’d be inclined to argue that’s an accurate description. The country, as a whole, doesn’t have much in the way of other internal taxes. Sales, etc. are all local government taxes.
