I know. It’s amazing how people somehow think that just because a local government won’t cooperate with the feds, unscrupulous gangs, companies, individuals etc. will stop threatening to call ICE on illegal immigrants to get whatever it is they want.

Best... Kids... Clubhouse/playhouse... ever.

Careful, a lot of people ‘round these parts tend to think that sanctuary cities magically protect illegal immigrants from being systematically victimized.

I’m sorry, but I still have to disagree. While I will agree it could negatively disrupt the user if taken to excess, a single one-off, “Hey, you like sniper rifles, here’s an example of a new sniper rifle you might like to buy” isn’t a big deal. Some people may even appreciate it.

Seeing as I don’t play competitive games, at all, people like me are definitively NOT the problem. Personally, I’d be *more* inclined to argue that competitive gaming, in general, is what has sent AAA gaming down the shitter.

Wait, I was under the impression it’s perfectly legal for law enforcement to lie their pants off to a suspect/witness in order to get them to talk. A fake subpoena seems to be just a clever interpretation of the law?

Interesting, I hadn’t seen the footage from across the aisle before, just the footage down the aisle. The footage down the aisle made it look like passenger actually threw a punch, but the across the aisle footage made it apparent it wasn’t really a punch, the officer dislodged an arm bracing against the cushion by

See, the key is to have your computer monitor, which doubles as your console monitor *next to* the T.V. (and, of course, have the 2nd computer monitor next to it on the other side)

I’ll admit, the contents of the article where a lot less vile than what I expected after reading the headline.

So. Alcubierre warp drive? EmDrive? Quantum Vacuum Thruster?

Pity it’s for mobile devices. I’m not mobile for long enough periods of time to make RPG’s there worthwhile, even though grid-based crawlers are one of my favorite genres.

Any big test today? IIRC we had a fire alarm in high school because a trash can was on fire. (No noticeable property damage, the fire was entirely contained in the trash can, which was metal) Rumor had it some kid tossed in a lit match because he hadn’t studied for a test. Takes some time for the fire to catch and be

AFAIK, e-verify is pretty much just a way for employers to (easily) prove they’ve done due diligence to avoid suffering the legal ramifications. (They already have to prove they’ve done due diligence.) I doubt it would have done much to prevent farm owners from paying migrant workers under the table.

based on additional quotes of the e-mail from another site:

To be honest, I’d be inclined to argue it’d be against the interests of central/southern/etc. countries to align with Ireland. That takes the racism card off the table, which I’d be half inclined to argue is the primary reason they are getting sympathy. It’s much easier to get people to rally against “kicking them out

There *is* a way to do much of that legally, via migrant visa. There just (as far as I’m aware) aren’t really enough of them available per year. But yeah, legal immigration needs fixing. And I sort of expect that if/when America actually gets serious about removing illegal immigrants, this fact will become readily

It’s unclear they knew/remembered he was on the exclusion list due to a failed attempt at crossing the border 20 years ago.

The idea of this being an intentional “sting” that they had planned all along seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through just to be cruel.

Maybe I’m just biased then, as my “payout” both times was higher, so 20k didn’t really seem odd. It’s been a while but it was essentially X weeks of pay, + pending pay, + paying out PTO. It sounds like the studio was in heavy crunch, so it’s likely he wasn’t able to use many/most of his PTO, so that’s likely 3-5

Of ‘course it’s the design. They weren’t put there by accident, or a glitch in the manufacturing process, or somesuch. The question is *why* that was the design. Esthetically pleasing? Something was supposed to plug in? (some sort of lid to make sure the cartridge was correctly fastened in place that turned out to be
