This is the correct action to take.

I’ve seen enough anime that I no longer Google search for unknown Japanese-sounding words.

Krieger would like a word with the designers.

My wife got one for a Kia she no longer had, and the giant headline on the mailer was a little scary at first since it said (in big bold letters):

I almost made this same comment myself.

I’m not even sure most Skyrim players were aware that it was part of “The Elder Scrolls” series for years.

You have a crazy idea of what basic cultural awareness is.

Wrong. Like, not even close.

You cannot possibly really believe The Elder Scrolls or Destiny 2 are part of the general pop culture zeitgeist. Hell, even Disney wasn’t all that interested in Disney Infinity. The only thing even vaguely in the realm of general cultural awareness here is the Joust question, and even for that arcade era of classic

Eh, not really. I’m sure there’s some guy out there who sees you buying groceries or washing your car or whatever and thinks you’re “totally cringe” for not buying the superior brand of toilet paper or using the wrong kind of soap on your taillights.

Not so quick there. “Oriental” merely means “of the Orient”, i.e. Eastern. In Europe (the Occident, or West) there is nowhere near the same level of overtones and prejudice that Americans have managed to attach to it. Sure, it’s becoming less acceptable in Europe due to American globalist influence over everything.

Not at the expected price, that’s for sure.

Yeah, lets make an enthusiast oriented 2 seater without world-beating speed, but we won’t offer a manual.   Just terrible.

So I’ve always been of the mindset that both parties are at fault - interest payments that exceed the value of the item purchased shouldn’t be legal, but also the consumer should do more to inform themselves. In fact, I was typing that out here when I realized apportioning blame to the consumer is akin to the argument

He did have a job until his illness. And, just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Predatory lenders are like someone walking into your house and stealing everything and justifying it by saying your door was unlocked.
