Is this something people notice? From what I see, people type like they’re texting. Blind. With their toes. I’m a 2-spacer, because that’s the correct way to do it on a typewriter, which is how I learned to type. But who even notices? What kind of uptight twat would ever even mention something so inane?

Things typed on a computer are still a lot easier to read if there are 2 spaces after the period though.  Like, that single spaced paragraph you copied and pasted would be a lot easier to read if it was double spaced.  It breaks up the ‘wall of text’ effect with more whitespace.

Who the fuck is panic buying cars???

As the token pickup truck driver, I will be glad to say that this is ridiculous.

Have I got this right? Bigger wheels with smaller sidewalls will give us:

I hate it.  But I’ll get used to it.  In fact, it’s sort of an improvement.  Actually I prefer it.  The next one after this will be terrible, surely.

They literally offer no vehicle right now that appeals to me.  The Focus and Fiesta were their best offerings until they pulled that plug.  I almost bought a Focus RS, but the dealership wanted 10 grand above price, and I finally got to see the mileage numbers (cough...not good).

Excuse me, but I bought my last car, brand new, from Ford. They will not get another as the vehicle I purchased was discontinued: Fiesta ST. I love that little bastard more than any previous car I owned. I didn’t realize how FUN a car could really be, when made right. I don’t want a Mustang, you see them every where

The simplest way for Ford to get my money would be to make a car I want to buy. But they cancelled all those in an attempt to sell EcoSports, so I’m not in danger of buying a Ford any time soon.

Seconded, I think your work is head and shoulders above most other auto journalists. The article itself reminds me of years ago when I used to go to Barns & Noble to read the articles in Evo (when Harris was still just a writer there). And you took the photos, which Chevy should be paying you to use! Again, great work!

The Corvette kept its composure even with mid-corner gear changes, so smooth were the shifts that they surely must have been lubricated by purist tears.

Neat, but not $30K neat.

The Ruffles Edition

Currently there are 6 people who obviously rolled out of bed this morning and started banging 7-gram rocks.

Please justify your NP vote. Anyone.

The thing with the Fiero was, by the time they finally got it right nobody wanted one anymore.  Yet another classic example of a good idea ruined by poor execution.

GM has taken a bunch of risks. Their problem is when the going gets tough, they fold and cancel. Look at the Fiero. Once they updated it into a decent car, they canceled it. Look at the Solstice. My guess is that the mid-engined vette won’t last too many years like those two other cars because it’s too impractical

I bet if they electrified the Camaro, it would shake things up too. Well, that and making it so the driver can see out of the car.
