Had the same issue. Finding a manual hatchback that hasn’t been vaped in or driven at least 150,000 miles in this area was really difficult and when I did find that car it was at most 3K less than a brand new car with cheap financing. Even then the dealer could only find 2 like I wanted within 500 miles.

Having owned an MR2 and now a Lotus, no, no it would not. On the other hand, owning a series 1 elise makes women go all gooey right up until the have to climb into it. Then, without exception, they hate it. Instantly.  With an intensity it would take most people a lifetime to cultivate.
