The Corvette has extremely strong history, both in racing pedigree and as a blue-collar sports car.

When you go through all the photos looking to spot yourself in the background, but the only picture with you in it is a slumped, sweaty shirtless silhouette under an umbrella. Killer event though, hoped I would’ve run into you guys!

Seeing and hearing this car in person this past weekend was a real treat!

I will be there with my 6MT Holden-converted and modified Chevy SS. Would love to meet guys!

Throw Nokian Hakka 8's on it, keep it cleaned and maintained and maybe a sand bag or two out back. It’s the best winter car I’ve ever had, which is why I drive it all year round. Manual slicktop too.

To everyone talking smack about the VF platform, namely the looks of the SS and whatnot, and moreover the price of the above car, just drive one (preferably an SS with a manual) and let me know how your opinion changes. I own a ‘15 SS 6MT slicktop. I have a Rotofab, 160˚ stat, LTH’s, effectively basic bolt ons. Dyno’d

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Newark the carjacking capital of America? I really want to come and will more than likely be in the tri-state area on Halloweekend, but the amount of carjackings there frightens me a bit.

“I’m sorry to say I have just the most awful news. The early models – the 2014s and the 2015s – aren’t exactly perfect. I’ve never driven one of those, but a bunch of people (including my esteemed colleagues Raphael Orlove and Patrick George) have repeatedly assured me it basically drives like a big Toyota Camry that

I didn’t drive it back (shipped it) but I bought a ‘15 Chevy SS sedan manual slicktop having never sat in or driven one ever in my life. It was in New Orleans, I was in Wellesley. Come to find out it’s a prepro car and has some super extendo warranty straight from GM on it.

when it comes to drag racing, manuals impress girls in high school, and automatics win races

That jetski has a nasty built motor, it has a lopier idle than my car and I drive something with an LS...

While this is an incredibly unfortunate event, this is obligatory, because G8.

Methinks you just like jumping on the bandwagon of hating things. It has all of the things you listed above, and in spades. And the interior, while not BMW or Benz levels of luxury, is very, very nice. Definitely not “pure rental car.”

ALCHEMY PURPLE FOR THE WIN

Because V8, RWD, manual, LSD, MRC, rare-ish, Australia/Kangaroos, not a hundred grand.

Now playing

I hear your Lamborghini and raise you the Ferrari Tipo 168 Comp, courtesy of the one and only Breadvan.

295 lb-ft? Flat Plane Crank anyone?

“Second, the build quality simply can’t be compared. The shoddy BMW plastic falls apart after years of use, while the Mercedes-Benz continues as new if you give it a spit n’ polish every once and again.”

I want one of those green light wands real bad... Any idea where I can get one?
