Jezzies, I think I'm going to lose my job :( I love it but I just can't seem to get my work done as quickly or accurately as the rest of my coworkers. And everyone just seems so much smarter than me, I feel dumb all day long. I hate it, because I know I'm smart and I should be capable of this stuff. My first review is

If you are trying to improve your form, these grip things supposedly help. I used them in highschool when I ran cross country. You just hold them in your hands while you run and they keep you better aligned and stuff (I imagine it has something to do with keeping your hands in the same position like that. I dunno,

Poor Rooneh. Even his hair plugs don't like him.

All of those names are amazing! Especially Spatula! One of my favorite words.

Gosh, you guys, I am a little overwhelmed by all of your responses! I was not expecting this many, so thanks :) I'm recommending all of your posts because you are all just so great. Now excuse me while I dig into this expansive list of audiobook goodness.. I might be awhile.

I just did a cursory googling of Dan Gilbert and first came across the founder-of-Quicken-Loans, some-basketball-team-owner Dan Gilbert, and I was like, Hmm. But then I looked up the actual book and realised, different D-Gilb. This book sounds interesting though! I will def check it out.

What do you do that requires you to listen to audiobooks all day? That sounds pretty amazing. Thank you so much for the recommendations! I'm kind of overwhelmed by all of the responses I've gotten, it's a good thing I have a few weeks til my first long drive to go through all of these :)

I LOVE Tina Fey. That is going straight to the top of my list!

At this point all my happiness derives from the fact that I don't live in a face-meltingly hot part of the world like the rest of you all. Temperate climes. The best.

Yes! I've heard his audiobooks are great. I will def have to check out my library for that one. I feel like such as nerd, but I get so bored of just listening to music in the car, and my dog isn't much for conversation :)

Thank you! I will definitely check those out. I'm open to pretty much anything so long as it is entertaining enough to keep me from thinking about how much I hate driving, ha.

My only requirement really is that it is interesting and engaging enough to keep me awake whilst driving :) Most recently I listened to the Hunger Games trilogy, which was ok (really enjoyed the first, the second was ok, reeeeeally didn't like the last one). When I was little and we went on trips we listened to the HP

When I lived in San Francisco they would have doggie meetups at the park by my house all the time. I would just hang around that park hoping to stumble upon them (this was before my animal and I found each other). One time there were about 20-30 french bulldogs running around and I literally died.

Hosting doesn't make you lazy! You're doing the initial work to get people to come together, I think that's great. Plus, game nights are the best! I am going to play Settlers of Cataan this evening with some friends of my brother's. I've never played before! I hear it's fun?

Hi Jezzies! I like to listen to audiobooks when I'm driving (I'm turning into my mom! Ack!), and I'm going to be doing several solo road trips in the next few months. I would super appreciate any suggestions you may have!

Is there a meetup for people with forever dog friends?? I (and my forever dog best friend soulmate cutiepants) would go to that in like half a heartbeat.

Books! That does sound lovely and very non-threatening. The majority of meets near me are super hippy-dippy ("Soap Makers", "Spiritual Center for Creative Thought", "Herbal Association", "Angel Blessing Circle").. aka MEH. There's gotta be a knitting circle around here I can try to join. I'd love to hang out with some

Ha, I had a moment of panic when I clicked that link, because it populates with all the meetups near me, and I was all like, o.m.g., how does this random internet person know the exact region of the area of the state I live in??! And then I realised that I am dumb, because beer.

Aw man, my heart hurts for you. And that sounds totally lame and insincere but it DOES. My parents haven't been able to get a new dog since we had to put dear Snuffles down over a decade ago, because they don't want to have to go through the pain of having to put another dog down. At this point, I think they are ready

Do you find it hard to keep in touch with out of town friends too? I have the exact same problems with social anxiety, and am absolutely awful at keeping in contact with people. So when it's been a long time since I have heard from such-and-such friend (largely due to me being a turd and forgetting to say hey now and
