I use the Missha Sun Milk etc etc mentioned in the article, and I like it! It is very light and it does say that it’s a moisturizing sunscreen. I usually mix in a drop or two of The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane before I apply it too. I have combo-oily skin though so I can’t say for certain that it wouldn’t

I use tarte’s BB tinted treatment and I like it a lot. It’s got zinc and some SPF. It says it’s a primer but it’s got decent coverage so I just use it on its own, maybe powder on top if I’m feeling fancy.

I really like the Glossier Boy Brow.

Yes! I just got some blotting papers and they help a lot. I used to use toilet seat covers from the bathroom at work, ha. Figured I’m an adult and can afford to use the papers instead.

Oh, rad! I was wondering if there was a way to get samples of stuff. I guess a walk to Sephora is on the agenda for today:)

I haven’t yet! I will check it out, thank you!

I am 31 years old and bought (and started wearing) makeup for the first time ever in my life three weeks ago.. A little late to the game, and nothing fancy but I feel so *pretty* haha. It’s nice to have something to cover up the gross acne that I was TOLD would go away in my 20s....

I don’t know if you’re *supposed* to, but I had friends who were baristas who would always complain about non-tippers. It IS stupid because I am pretty sure you’re right and their income doesn’t totally depend on tips. In the case of my friends it felt like they felt entitled to them, which is pretty lame. I do try to

I recommend this book to everyone: The Golem and the Jinni, by Helene Wecker. It’s like.. historical fiction with a splash of fantasy. It’s about two people (the aforementioned golem and genie) who come to New York city at the turn of the (20th) century. It’s really really really good.

That’s beautiful! I always am blown away by the cool patterns and stuff you can do with knitting (I am a measly crocheter only).

I love everything about this photo. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. All the best to you during this tough time.

Indian takeout because I had a brain fart this afternoon and didn’t start the crock pot in time to make chicken and dumplings soup. Definitely making that tomorrow though!

Does that mean he canceled his Cal Poly SLO stop too? I thought he was coming here next.

The cake is a lie.

My brother and SIL are in town. We are all going to the March tomorrow together. I have a cute dog and an amazing boyfren and I feel loved and supported by my family.

Maybe Auburn or Colfax? It’s in the foothills off of I80 so it gets colder (even snows sometimes!) And is close to Tahoe, Sacramento, and only a few hours from SF if you wanted to make a day trip out there! It’s a tad more rural too and there’s lots of wilderness and hiking. Or Placerville, lots of cool gold rush

More like PGing-relatives, judging from the vomit-inducing giffage above.

Also the lady characters in the show are really amazing. Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton are phenomenal.

There’s actually way less gratuitous sex and nudity than you’d think. There’s more of it at the beginning to kind of set the stage of what this place is, but I’d say most of the nudity is more clinical than titillating (hosts are nude in storage and when they’re being worked on/repaired). It’s really good!!

I’m thankful for this mutt, my beautiful furry baby boy, Pesto. They had a photographer at the groomer today and I couldn’t resist buying this dumb pic of him sitting in a weird basket. It’s kind of a crappy photo and I definitely paid way too much for it. But I still love it.
