@jedimario: yeah, but I probably wouldn't think to ask - 'why isn't there an Accord coupe?' if I didn't realize that one existed. Also, the Accord is quite a bit more "sporty" than the Camry.
missed Holden and Fiat. It's a lot easier when the damn companies are in your market.
@jpech: Actually, Australian designed 4 seater (ha! barely, but still) with a 1.6L B6 Miata engine. The XR2 version came with a factory turbo making 132 HP, which combined with a weight of 2,446 lbs resulted in a relatively respectable 0-60 time just a tick under 8 seconds (over a second faster than a comparable…
@gman1023: Yeah, 4.0L IRL derived, twincam, all aluminum V8 wasn't exactly forgettable. I'd actually like to say the Cutlass Supreme with the DOHC LQ1 V6 was also not bad, especially the 'vert version. If you could find a getrag + LQ1 model from '91 or '92, it'd actually probably be pretty fun to drive.
@jedimario: really? You actually wonder why there isn't a Camry coupe? That's like wondering why there isn't an SS version of an ice cream truck.
early '00s Nissan Sentra.
104k miles with a 5 speed and no rust? This car is worth quite a bit more than 5500. Definitely a steal!
phhhh, that's not a hole, it's just a missing chunk!
@CJinSD: yeah, i was kind of thinking the same thing... Honda had the single sided swingarm WAY before, and I'd take a 90 degree V4 with gear driven cams over a 90 degree L2 with desmondromic valves. Sure, it was using a carb, but it was making as much power at higher revs with a smaller engine.
Where can I get one for my motorcycle?
@Pibbs: actually, those cost increases have mostly come from inflation - 11,588 in 1990 = 18,781 in 2009
37k sebring?
to quote the great robot actor Calculon, " I'm not familiar with the type of thing I'm seeing."
Perhaps instead of dispelling the "myth" that hybrids are slow, hybrid drivers could start trying to dispel the "myth" that hybrid drivers are asshats.
It might be worth it with a proper history and a well written, informative ad, but there are just too many inconsistencies to lay out 15k for something like this.
@MaWeiTao: I think they might use something similar on Houston roads. It looks like a lot of the older concrete is embedded with shells. Of course, they've been completely rounded off and now create an extremely slick surface whenever it's wet...
This has so much fail that it's gone full circle and is now full of win. Out of all of the engines anyone could have picked... I mean, that's just perverse.
@Scandinavian Flick: based on the car, an ugly stick would be appropriate penance for my omission!
@Scandinavian Flick: arghh, beat me!
