Oh man, that’s not a liftback? It looks like there’s enough room to start a small hobby farm on the rear parcel shelf. Also, the trunk looks short enough that it would barely fit a spoiler - factory or otherwise.

Thank you for helping me justify the purchase of my current car, Tavarish.
The Acty comes in kind of a pickup form. Does that count?
Ah, clear across the continent. That is unfortunate.
Looks more like AE92 to me.
“Hip” brands seem to have a thing for destroying cool old cars. There was a boarding company that did something similar with a really big old tree and a 1st gen Celica.
I agree. Fighting someone who is probably wearing full armor, and the legal equivalent of knuckle dusters is stupid at best. The stupid grows exponentially if you’re only wearing what the old man there was.
What do you do in the winter? Or do you live in the south where the weather doesn’t really get below freezing?
Free Chevette? I kind of actually do know a guy who loves weird old cars like that. You located anywhere near Vancouver Island?
Woah, Toyota. You named one Takumi, and you didn’t make it look remotely like an AE86?
The ultra potent 3S-FC. 2 barrel carb, baby!
It had a cavalier attitude towards its design and subsequent build quality?
ガチャピン?
....’87 Toyota.... ....less rust issues.... ....’87 Toyota.... What? As an owner of an ‘87 Toyota, that particular combination of words is somewhat baffling.
Also consider the VQ35 for transmission availability. IIRC, the 1GR never came with a manual transmission in the North American markets.
Carmakers may actually want to, but we may never know. Car dealers, on the other hand, do not want that at all for the most part.
I STILL want one. I ended up with an AE86 as a first car so I’m not too disappointed in not getting one, but they sure are sexy cars.
I agree. Ditch the widebody kit for some more streamlined body lines as well as tone down the bumpers, and you’ve got the start of a pretty great looking car.
Wow. Way to disincentivize performance. How long did she last before she jumped ship?
