"When he came to, he tried to sue the Simpson's for using his likeness. The judge tossed the case out like it was week old risotto.
But we knew what it was. It was payback for shooting Chrissie Moltosanti when he was a kid…"

Well said. Though we do get some compelling scenes of the Corleone family before they become part of the "ruling class" in Godfather 2.

And his mom played Pesci's mom with the aforementioned dog painting!

I've never been down that road. I'm just not that much of a masochist I guess. Sounds awful.

That's a huge minority of film.

(Nods, makes eye contact, gets restraining order insisting DR Darke remains 3 threads away, takes remedial English classes.)

How fucking shitty was it when "the estate of Rosa Parks" sued Outkast? Pick your battles.

That was rambling CD, but you got to the heart of the truth.

Did you just shorten For Fuck Sake?
I've never seen that. Suppose one might consider it either prudish or lazy. Not sure which is worse, but neither is an admirable quality.

2000 comments in and I'm baffled as well. Something about feminist criticism? Not sure. Bunch of folks seem wound up.

Sentence structure nice.

I respect your culinary advances insofar as blending bass, but I find your marriage of "in-depth" troubling.

Well said. By the way, are you John Hubinger?

So exactly how much thought did you put into your name, kkjjxl?

Hey buddy, I got your prehensile tail swinging right here!
What's that? But it's a tail, right… I'm a homo sapien… Yeah…

Irvine Welsh fan? If the AV Club won't write a damn thinkpiece, then I will!

You make me want to start a Milton Berle account.

It's been a long running pattern. If I were to guess, it would trace roots to hunter-gatherer stories in Sumeria. Funny thing is that the world has changed in a significant manner in the last couple millennia, and it would be cool to see more stories reflect that.

No, Rob. He's on point. I generally agree with your posts and think of you as a well thought part of the commentariat, but in this instance Ace is addressing the topic expressly and without bias.

Thank you Ace. As clickbaity as this article may be, it's sparked some cognizant and thoughtful arguments. There be some trolls here, but on the up and up the debate has been more civil than reactionary.
