I forgot killing him was necessary for the beast rune. I also do every boss, but he is such a pain in the ass (and not in the good Soulsborne way) I would skip him on subsequent playthroughs if I don’t do a beast build.

Laurence is just cheap. His attacks do massive damage, have huge range and the fire can really fuck you up. Otherwise there are no cool attacks or interesting patterns to memorize. He’s just an asshole you have to grind through with huge DPS, luck and staying close to his back as much as you can.
Worst boss of the

I am so tired of the animated Oscar going to the Pixar movie by default. There have been multiple better movies snubbed in multiple years already. Loving Vincent should have won this year, it’s a masterpiece. If not that, then The Breadwinner. Most of the voters probably haven’t watched the entries and voted blindly.

I would have given you that if they were adapting books and there was an already developed character there, but they had no idea where season 3 would go. They DID set her and her brother up to be something special, but she ended up being a nothing addition that the show would lose almost nothing by cutting out. Her

A cult star in a ton of B action movies (some of them pretty great) is not a bad career. He’s not exactly an unknown and can make his own movies, which you can’t say about every actor.

If anything I think the Watch books are the best in the series overall. All of them are great really, but I thought this was a more popular opinion than most. This is also great for the series since it would require the least budget. Everything is a street-level story which can progress to some higher-level political

It was better than that PI season. I’ve rewatched seasons 1-6 a lot, but 7 was boring and I don’t remember much of it. 8 was okay. 9 is going to be great just based on the premise. I really hope he wakes up for S10 amd they do a good story which will bring closure to him, Lana and the kid, plus the rest of the gang.

Well, Raimi is involved with the show but I have no idea if he has a hand in writing it or not. If not, I don’t think he’s 100% needed for the ending. The show is turning out great, but if he comes back to direct and write the 4th movie I wouldn’t mind it.

We probably will - the show will go on until canceled (hopefully not soon). Once it is, they will go on making the movie.

I hated that movie so much. Or maybe I didn’t, but I knew almost from the start it will be a turd and I’d never watch it again. That scene in the car, the fight in the backseat - something simple to shoot and fun to watch (if it were real) turned into a shit-CGI-fest. The only thing I remember clearly is the backseat

As others have noted, I would have loved the unapologetic killer vigilante from the comics. They executed the PTSD soldier angle well, but a series with Ray Stevenson’s Punisher (from the Warzone movie) would have been even better. Still liked it, good enough for 7/10 or whatever.

Thanks, might give it a watch at some point.

Punisher was 3-4 episodes longer than it should have been, same as with the other shows. It was still good and I’d easily rank it among the better shows they’ve done. DD S2 fell apart after the first few episodes, Luke Cage the same, Iron Fist was mostly terrible, Defenders was dull AF. Punisher was around the same

Did it have an ending? I mean did it just peter out into nothing or was the season/series finale worth it? I liked the first season, but didn’t see where they’d take it in S2, so I didn’t bother.

Yeah, I dropped it after Beth got shot as well. I had already mostly stopped caring and was mainly watching of obligation. Beth was one of the very few genuinely good people in the group, her dying was the last straw. I haven’t come back and I’m glad I stopped wasting my time.
The entire series is just repetitive

You are not, this sounds like shit. There’s reimagining, and then there’s that. Not sure if it wasn’t a joke tweet.

Yes, once the Discworld novels grabs you, you won’t drop them until you finish every book. I’d recommend googling the reading order guide. DW has 4-5 main series with their own main characters. They are loosely connected and in the same world and continuity.
The first two Discworld books are a bit weaker than what

I didn’t really hate that book, but compared to many of his classics it was a huge disappointment. I consider it one of his weakest books, along with The Last Continent.

I thought so as well, and to be fair either way would have been fine. The plot of the first season was as exciting as watching paint dry. The time-travel shenanigans were fun here and there, characters were likeable, but the Rittenhouse conspiracy and the lack of details on their vague-ass plan made it almost boring.

Great track. AZ should be much more popular, but sadly people have slept on him his entire career.
