Big picture, bro. The studio may have been losing money in previous years but it made a small profit now, which means some improvement and progress. Hopefully they get their shit together, release better movies and have an even bigger profit in the future.

Square Enix have long been an aging studio with no proper direction and seemmingly incompetent teams. They take years to release bad games like the XIII series or XV, which was mediocre at best. I’d say XII was the last good game they made. I’ve heard nice things about the remade XIV too, but haven’t played it.

6 episodes total and you should finish it, it’s great. This series is one of the best things to happen to TV in the last few years. Hope S3 keeps the high level and it goes on for awhile if they feel like they have enough stories to adapt.

I don’t mind the gore at all, I just wished it was in a better show. Almost everything else is either infuriating or boring, as you can see the shell of something that can be a much better show, but it’s crippled by repetition, at times bad writing and mostly glacial pace.

It’s a hard thing to do, but if you learn to let go you will feel much better.
