You’re correct, but that’s a 2nd gen Probe. The BTTF one is a 1st gen.

First gen Ford Probe, 1988-1992.

I don’t know, but the Venn diagram of “not a real Mustang” people and “PC culture is ruining everything” people is a perfect circle.

I believe the Nissan Leaf uses an induction motor, as did all Teslas until the Model 3 was introduced. (The Model 3 has permanent magnet motors, and IIRC, AWD Model S and X cars now use a permanent magnet motor in the front and an induction motor in the rear.)

DC motors have brushes. Brushes are a piece of metal rubbing on another piece of metal. That produces a ton of friction and eats into efficiency a lot. A Sable is just a Taurus with an identity crisis.

This. So much this.

There is never enough Giertz content. It’s been months and I’m still laughing about the soup robot.

I want that so bad.

It’s not so much a “blatant copy” as it is an indication that that’s the new norm. Every new car is going to have a screen-centric dash now, and we’ve just got to get used to it.

Ford: looks like the Mach-E was pretty controversial.

Empty freeways are great if you live somewhere where the freeways are actually empty sometimes.

What about a Challenger?

It’s not atrocious, but it’s not flashy either. It’s a factory sleeper of sorts. It looks like every other dull Kia sedan.
