Having one standard for the country is fine, but what Trump wants is to have one really loose standard that encourages automakers to stop improving their emissions, or even take steps backward. Emissions standards need to get a lot stricter if we have any hope of slowing climate change, and Trump is pushing things in

Toyota is delusional if they think those are going to sell. Battery electric has already won out over hydrogen.

It’s not a bad car by any means. If you want to move people and stuff from A to B, it’s perfectly fine.

Five years? Talk about too little, too late.

Electric vehicles don’t cause more pollution than an ICE vehicle. That’s an old myth that’s been debunked over and over and over again.

The Prius was never an actual solution. It was a stopgap measure so that people could buy a car that told the world “look, I’m making a difference!” while still buying gasoline and keeping the oil industry fat and happy. In the words of Obadiah Stane, “we built that thing to shut the hippies up”.

I’ll repeat a comment I made on something the other day that seems to be relevant 24/7:

There’s no such thing as too much Mustang, but I see your point.

There’s at least one. Granted, the dealership is rated 2 out of 5 stars, but I’m sure there are others out there.

Nice! This is the one I was looking at:

What about the obvious choice? You can get a Mustang GT a couple of years old for 25k and have some cash left over for mods. If you want to spend the whole 35k, you could get a brand new one.

lol, that’s entirely possible

How about the electric version? It was only made for a year and only sold in California, but it had Tesla powertrain components and was pretty dang quick.

And there’s my new favorite phrase.

Chevy: the latest in a growing list of car manufacturers to copy the styling of the Nissan Kicks.

“Almost nobody” compared to stuff like Winter Soldier.

My thoughts exactly! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who sees it this way.

I like plenty of other movies as well. I just think a list of the 100 best movies of the past 10 years should include more movies that a lot of people have actually seen. There’s no point in telling us The Master is the second best movie of the decade if almost nobody’s heard of it.

It’s not the end of the world. As Tesla has proved, heavy doesn’t necessarily mean slow, nor does it mean poor handling. I’ve talked to someone who was at the reveal and took a ride-along, and they said it drives exactly like a Mustang, in a good way.

I know, right? This car is getting so much unwarranted hate. There’s a lot of crossover-phobia on this site, but I think a lot of people also don’t realize that a four-door Mustang was being considered from the beginning. They even built a prototype back in ‘64.
