Fair enough. Maybe watching motorsports just isn’t for me.

I really hope those are bots. The Mustang jokes were only kinda funny when they started, and by now they’re about as stale and unfunny as a joke can get.
Every single one will be wrapped around a tree in 3... 2... 1...
I love the R/C car sound! I may get flak for saying this here, but I really don’t like loud gas engines. I just find them obnoxious. But that high-pictched electric sound (which is actually mostly gear whine) is slick and futuristic and just sounds so cool. It gives you an easy audible cue for your acceleration…
If you know what you’re doing (and you should if you’re gonna attempt this), it’s easy enough to find all the right components for NA/NB Miatas. They’re very popular in the DIY EV community, and they’re a great platform for it.
I still have trouble with “amatuer”. This might be the first time I’ve spelled it according to my best guess, looked it up and discovered I was right.
Of all the things that didn’t need a reboot.
Maybe I just don’t understand what NASCAR is about, but the whole culture of drivers insulting each other seems very childish and unprofessional. I keep trying to watch it, since I’m not into any other sports, and the macho dude-bro attitudes keep putting me off of it.
Well, I mean... they are.
I think it can be both. Everyone knows it’s true, but it doesn’t hurt to remind them.
Genuinely very excited about this! I always liked the Dixie Chicks, and I have huge respect for Natalie for making the Bush comment in an era where it wasn’t expected or accepted.
I think that goes without saying.
Hmm... a movie about a white guy shooting a bunch of Mexicans, all of whom are depicted as criminals?
This is funny, but in fairness, the way it was written does look a bit rude. Would it have killed them to write out the word “cheese”?
Every aspect of TBBT is the most grating aspect of TBBT, but I see your point.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every episode of Friends at least twice, although I’m not entirely sure why. I loved the show as a teenager, but watching it again, it just seems very tired and laugh-track-y (yes, I know it was a studio audience, but it’s still kind of annoying). And yes, a lot of it doesn’t hold up very well…
“nine dollars more to fill up your F-150"
A 6x6 without locking diffs makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine.
See Sir Lurkalot’s comment above. The V8 may be faster in a straight line, but the handling is far worse because of all the extra weight in the nose. It’s prone to both understeer and snap oversteer. There’s a reason all the Cars & Coffee accidents happen to V8 cars.
