I really hate how much I love this comment.

Actually, fuck all Republicans, but not literally.

My favorite one is “rate of speed”. I see this all the time, especially in vaguely science-y articles. It’s not technically wrong, I guess, but it’s redundant. “Rate” and “speed” mean almost exactly the same thing.

This really sucks. I’ve been a longtime fan of Tyson, and especially his Cosmos series. He’s done some really neat stuff and helped a lot of people learn more about science. But god fucking dammit, Neil, this is crossing the line. This is unacceptable. There were so many ways you could have handled this, and you

What can I say, except... you’re wrong!

Idris Elba as Bond is probably not going to happen. Lashana Lynch is set to play the next 007 (presumably after some kind of “passing of the torch” scene).

I’m seeing this tomorrow. I wasn’t going to bother, but a friend invited me and I figured I might as well.

Or, you know, they could just make an electric 911 already. The motor can even stay in the back.

I have to say, I lean more toward hating it. It’s excessive and pointless and scary and all sorts of things that make no sense.

Now playing

Obligatory “two Rogers don’t make a right” scene:

Why do racist Southern assholes always drive Silverados?

This whole “generation war” thing is getting completely out of hand.

As long as we’re dissecting the semantics of this, I’ll take it one step further: why is “tough” considered such a desirable trait? (Buckle up, because I’m about to take this half-joking article waaaaaay too seriously.)

Seems odd to be complaining about Biden being old when Sanders is older and drastically less qualified, but ok.

I’m relieved as well. Fewer candidates means we’re closer to picking just one. The last thing we need is to divide Democrats the way Bernie did in 2016, creating a camp of over-dedicated fans who refuse to vote at all if their preferred candidate doesn’t win the primary.

I think you can tell from my username that I’m not going to agree with you on that.

I think the upcoming Honda E and Mini E will fill this niche nicely. Cheaper than a normal “entry-level” EV like a Kona, Leaf or Bolt, and with less range (although the Leaf/Kona/Bolt trio is still a better deal for the range you get).

People like it for a reason. Ubiquity does not equal inferiority.
