Two questions:
Not gonna watch because the Hoonigan guys are insanely annoying, but it’s really sad to see the EV West M3 in that state. It’s always been one of my favorite EV builds. I hope they can patch it back together.
Thank you! I’m glad someone finally compiled actual statistics on the electric vs gas fire risk issue. I get in arguments all the time with the “ooh, one electric car caught fire, they’re so dangerous” idiots.
grounded to the ground
I’m guessing all of them are staged.
Smaller, actually. Same height and width, shorter overall length.
Dealer mark-ups suck big time. The MSRP for the Kona Electric starts at around $36k USD, before tax incentives. Even a fully loaded one shouldn’t be much over 40k.
One Kona EV has had an issue. The car has been available for about a year.
I would totally watch that.
The Kona is actually the same height as the Leaf, and shorter bumper-to-bumper. Great car, but quite a small car.
Am I the only one who actually liked the look of the original Leaf? Maybe it’s just because I’ve had one for a few years and I’m used to it, but I think it’s cute, in a bubbly frog-eye sort of way. I think of it as the modern equivalent of the original Beetle.
Tesla DID create a dopey little arcade game.
But if you ask the car what its name is, it will say “I am Groot.” And if you ask it anything else, it will also say “I am Groot.”
Wait... shit... my keys are on a carabiner...
You’re overthinking this.
I’m fine with this as long as the computer won’t let you watch it while the car is moving. The last thing we need is some doofus watching shows while the car is on autopilot and causing an accident because they weren’t paying attention when the autopilot glitches.
