The current Mustang looks terrific. The only (very) minor complaint I have is the slightly squinty headlights, but they’re still better than most modern cars.

I actually thought the C4 was a really cool looking car when I was a kid. I still kinda want one.

I only realized this year that the 2010 Camaro was supposed to be a “retro” design modeled after the ‘69 Camaro. Up until this point I thought they just made it up off the top of their heads. I’d been looking at both cars the whole time, it just didn’t click because they did such a crappy job capturing the look.

Boy, do I have a book for you.

Personally, I don’t like stretching too much. When I was first learning to drive, I used to have nightmares about being in a car that was going too fast, reaching for the brake pedal and it always being just out of reach. I still can’t quite picture how short people drive old pickup trucks with non-adjustable seats.

I usually like to sit pretty far forward (possibly because I’m almost exactly the same height as Richard Hammond), but I know I’ve gone too far when I can’t move my knees around with them hitting the steering column. On the other hand, if I have to stretch to get any pedal all the way to the floor, I’m too far back.

“who’d feel unsafe around that?”

Even cheap cars are angry now.

I half expected the “deranged man” to be Tarantino himself. The guy is freakin’ weird.

I think you may need an urgent eye exam.

Electric off-road race truck, you say?

I...kinda...like it?

No amount of stick shift can redeem this turd. Still a Hummer.

It’s too bad he said “no muscle cars”, otherwise a used Ecoboost Mustang would fit the bill perfectly. Fun, RWD, manual, over 30 mpg highway, and you can easily find one under 25k.

I’ve seen this a lot on Kinja recently. Either a lot of people are posting the same comment over and over again, or more likely, the site is glitching out and posting certain comments a bunch of times.

Don’t know about ‘Vettes, but my car has push-to-start and it only works if the key is actually inside the car.

I don’t agree with everything Iaccoca did, but I have a lot of respect for him. Without Lee, the auto industry as we know it today wouldn’t exist, nor would the almighty Mustang.

I fucking love Love Story. I remember hearing it on the radio when it came out. I was about 11, and that was the song that made me fall top over teakettle for both Taylor and country music. It’s a tiny bit cheesy from an adult perspective, but still a great song and a perfectly executed example of the classic Swift

Black tops are good, but only on black cars.
