Ah, Hans. He’s the man.
I think along similar lines
Agreed

We need more partisan political Gawker influence in Jalopnik. There hasn’t been enough since they were justifiably bankrupted.
I still have some 20 mike-mike brass from the Hornets Vulcan. I always asked the AO’s to hook me up after a gun flight. I’ve given them to friends and family. Negligible value, but good conversation pieces.

Well done Dead5, you ordered the correct color on the GT3
Yep. All the way from 1964-1998. I know that feature well
Completely agree with the first 1:45 of Doug’s Carrera GT vid.
This was back in the ‘Nam. Rennsport Reunion II (2004). A friend let me take his car out. The highlights for me were bullshitting with Norbert Singer next to GT1 98, and then later getting a ride in a Carrera GT with Jacky Ickx behind the wheel. That was quite an experience.
I respectfully disagree completely, only on the Countach. I love fat hips in air cooled 911's, for instance. That being said, you are a fine citizen and gentleman. I can tell about these things. Anyone with a 917 in their profile pic is ok by me. I got to do 2 laps in a 917K once.
Early LP400 Countach. The later ones with wings and body cladding were awful.
The video was 2 single seat Vipers. You heard lead calling 2 trying to get him to pull up. In a 2 seat trainer, yes the instructor has a set of controls also. I flew the Hornet, but it’s a similar setup in the 2 seat pilot trainer variants. Anyway, yes this person would have likely died without this relatively new…

Holy shit. Glad to have spent most of my life in TX and FL.
You are an exception then, and I applaud you. I have never had a salesperson at any stealership that had solid knowledge of their product line.

Sometimes you get a “funky chicken” spasm and/or complete inability to recall that they LOC’d out.
