Hi, came over when I was 2 and we overstayed our visa. My parents paid taxes and worked for cash. I used my SSN to get into school as a resident of CA, wasn’t able to get financial aide because that would have shown my SSN was expired. We never used SSNs that weren’t already assigned to us.
