@Ursus-Veritas: Wider spectrum and it keeps it from looking dated as time goes on.

Dear Gizmoducks,

Video games are a category of bonding that I think works well because fine motor skills develop to an adequate level pretty early.

@descendency: Not everyone likes to snatch up clutter and kitsch. I have a hard time understanding why enjoying an activity means I now have to collect every related piece of merchandising junk pertaining to it like some sort of magpie.

@freedomweasel: Yup. Now if CEs actually gave you cool, practical stuff I might be down. I believe one of the CoD CEs actually shipped with legit night vision goggles. Now that's cool. Replica helmets and action figures. . . not so cool.

@Gregg Symington: They invented better, more efficient ways to invent things that have already been invented.

I don’t really care about cosmetic digital stuff. I do prefer good real-world items, but frankly I don’t like having a lot of crap in my house so I rarely care for CE extras unless there is something really nice in it. Generally they will need to have some real intrinsic value either practical or aesthetic. For

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Ah the almighty p-value. I'm generally skeptical of their worth. I am of the opinion that stats don't count for anything without theory to back them up. If you have no viable theory then no p value or hypothesis test is worth a thing.

@Cheevocabra: People's moods change based on season and light level. It's not hard to imagine that a baby born in spring-time will be surrounded by more happiness and smiles that lead to a more outgoing personality that one born in the bleakest depths of winter.

@Agrippa: Actually I heard that most of the Nigerian scam e-mail rings originate from Cameroon, Chad, and C.A.R.

@Cin: The orbital period and relationship of stars to each other is how they track time. It's no more part of the purported astrological effects than the calendar influences the seasons.

@ZanipoloLebron: "So basically trends that didnt support the conclusion were considered non significant trends."

There is no such thing as a non-significant trend. It's either a significant thing that might be a trend or something non-significant. . .

@FelineFraulein: I'm a guy and I have about the same reaction. Whenever I go into bar bathroom I'm always like "Holy crap since when does my face look so sallow?"

Hi, my name is Naravara and . . .Starcraft II was the first Blizzard RTS I actually beat all the way through without cheat codes.

@Coffee Talks is pissed: I do like how you assumed that I'm not a minority (pro-tip: I am) and haven't dealt with listening to people saying all kinds of boneheaded things. But the fact is when you unleash with this kind of virtiol towards anyone who doesn't both read and agree with exactly the "101 ground-up

@Coffee Talks is pissed: Ah and right there we apparently learn that anything you deem "classist. . . " is actually that. It couldn't possibly be that you're jumping to conclusions and pigeonholing people into worldviews or perspectives that they don't actually have could it?
