@Mark 2000: Where did I say that? I don't recall saying that at all.

@Mark 2000: You still don't know what a fallacy is. Review logic 101.

@Mark 2000: Reading comprehension isn't your strong point is it? I said your knee-jerk anti-corporatism is borne of ignorance. I said that companies in general, and tech companies in particular, take CSR seriously (even if they don't put as much into it as we may like.) If you want a tree to bark up then complain

@Ari Schwartz: Hold up Ari. You know how colleges put an RA on every floor and often design their buildings and libraries to have windows too small to fit a person through?

@Mark 2000: Review your definition of a "fallacy." There is nothing wrong with the argument even if you don't like it.

@Mark 2000: How adorable. You might think the "jaded cynic" routine makes you seem like some enlightened skeptic, but it generally has little relationship with the truth of how companies work. Most companies, especially in the tech industry, take corporate social responsibility seriously.

@Mark 2000: Handing out a few dozen iPods doesn't actually gain them any long-term publicity.

@Mark 2000: Yes I'm sure that's all it is. Because if there is one thing Apple lacks it's buzz and attention. . .

Yes. She's not stereotypically hot at all. . .(eyeroll).

Love the first sentence since you can plug it into any review.

@peteer02: hates geofencing: Generally I don’t collect a lot of stuff since I expect there to be whatever I need for a situation hidden in a ceramic pot or some tall grass wherever I happen to be.

I’m actually going to answer seriously here.

@ Dogpile:

@Eseph: See, if a game is going to force you to do repetitive grinds like that to make money it really should just let you run pre-approved automated scripts.

@Alibelle: Really? Spend 5 minutes playing any shooter game online and you’ll probably hear the word 30 times from some squeaky voiced kid. Especially if he’s getting his ass handed to him. Maybe my perspectives are colored by the fact that these are basically the only 15 year old boys I ever have to listen to

@labratintraining: I agree that people’s use of the word implies that there is something derogatory about being gay, which is the reason I don’t approve of its casual use.

@Richard Lawson: Is there anyone between the ages of 13 and 40 who hasn't been on the receiving end? At no point did I ever feel like the implication was "You like men."

@mouseyChuu: The listeners are generally speaking the same language as the users. It's the 3rd party "analysts" who aren't, which is why the thesis seems off to me. It's a 3rd party presupposing their perception of the word onto a group of people who don't share it.

I question this article’s premise. When young men use the word "fag" it’s not specifically meant to mean "gay." It’s just a random pejorative insult that has lost its initial meaning through overuse.
