@The Werewolf: When the law is absurd, people who get away with defying it are cool. It's pretty basic.

@AspasiaTheLayza: The last article I read on the matter said Bagley and the guys who paid him are all facing life in prison. I distinctly remember lamenting it wasn't eye-for-and-eye.

@bluebears: I’m not too proud to admit that I chuckled a bit when I read that.

I've actually been trying to switch over from the standard granny knot to a reef knot on my laces.

@pastanaut: Nothing out of whack. 40% say they don’t like it, that leaves 60% who do. If that 60% watches way more TV than the 40% then they’re going to generate massive ratings for reality TV even though a lot of people hate it.

@bluebears: Um. .. . yes. How I Met Your Mother IS objectively better than Jersey Shore.

@TheHierophant: Combat outcomes in most RPGs involve dice-rolls. That doesn't mean there is no strategy involved. Each dead monster has a probability of dropping a pot. Over the long-term you'll get the same amount of healing per baddie killed. Not much luck involved.

@wednesdayam: That's why it's a high watermark for how awesome people are.

@BuffySummers: As far as Coen Bros. flicks go, Hudsucker Proxy is better.

@wish_i_was_hiking: Every life choice anyone makes makes them unappealing to some people and appealing to others.

@Slamdance Cosmopolis: Here’s the thing though. Lawyers at big-firms work absurd hours. I have friends that I see literally 2 or 3 times a year because they work like dogs. It’s hard to date someone with that kind of lifestyle if you have any kind of responsibilities or demands on your time at all because it’s almost

@mergedwarrior: Ironically, all that stuff at the end she says about lawyer ladies who don’t have their stuff together in order to make them more "accessible" is precisely the kind of thing that would make someone not want to get involved.

@bluesbelle: I just never thought of "hot" as being the opposite of "geek."

@DepecheNode: I think this is basically the "Sawyer and Miles Buddy Cop Drama" I desperately wanted to see spin off from the last season of Lost.

@bluesbelle: Have you never seen "She's All That?" Or "10 Things I Hate About You?"

@pancakes_4_your_face: I don't know who ever figured the only manly guys look like Gerard Butler in 300. Clint Eastwood is usually extremely well-dressed, and he plays a soulful guitar. Charles Bronson is still regarded as a BAMF. MacGuyver, who guys of my generation grew up with, is basically an engineering geek.

@Hearthatvoiceagain says POO: Perfectly comparable. A reasonable action in one context no longer suits our purposes later on. People change course all the time because they feel like it without needing to apologize or owing anyone anything. Did Apple "make a mistake" by switching from PPC to Intel?

@tlewallen: I think that was just their example. The rule basically covers any app whose function is already overrepresented in the app store. This presumably also includes "Free Wallpaper" apps, girls in bikini apps, and so on.

@tlewallen: Actually one of the new guidelines is that "We don't need any more fart apps." Seriously.
