@Nethlem: I don't know. Motion control might make it viable in the future if they come up with some novel interface tricks.

@Ethan Crispo: No. For that you need a racing stripe and some neon tubes inside.

@Ken: Relic is great at creating the ambiance. But the epic storylines are still done better by Blizzard I think. Even in Homeworld II, which was great, HUGE things are going on. But the way the story is communicated it still feels like "Get this thing there." The between mission briefings in Starcraft, though, make

Where was it written that sex HAS to be done in your bedroom on your bed? If anything wouldn't this just make Americans more adventurous about where they have their sexy-times?

@HC: Clock speeds aren't everything.

@Liam: "On paper" communism works. It is a bit overpriced now just because it's been like, a year and half since the last refresh. But it's not that extreme.

@MazdaMania: The Mac Towers are always really expensive because they're for high-end users who do video-editing, drafting, CAD, and such. It's not really for normal use.

@HPPalm: Blu-Ray has pretty high licensing fees and AFAIK isn't that big of a selling point for the average joe. Not worth the extra $200 for most people. Especially given that most people who want a blu-ray player already have one.

@thekeith82: Well he couldn't have come up with the song until after we invented contemporary American English. . . so that narrows down the potential time-frame :-p

@pollyanna-ish: There are people who are having issues with the phone. But everything I've seen suggests that there are people who will have issues with any phone depending on where they are and what the service is like there. The thing is, I have had the opportunity to travel a lot around the country this summer

@halos: Actually the phone performs perfectly fine, in line with any other smartphone on the market. The bumper is a free give-away to make people stop complaining because some people have decided they have an axe to grind with Apple and will use the overblown publicity about this to bash them.

@vamusical: Mostly I'm just glad that marketers have realized that selling something "for men" doesn't just mean putting the same damn thing in a black or gray bottle for a dollar more.

@LawProdigy: Ah. Where did you learn such elegant deployment of non sequitur and ad hominem? Lawl school?

@LawProdigy: Let's get this straight. You are suggesting that Apple release a defective product and it would be no big deal because you can just return it over and over again with no regard for the fact that Apple has to spend a lot of money to keep replacing its phones like that.

@swizzle23: They have to ramp up production on bumpers now that they're free. Since the majority of people choose black, they're going to mass produce the most popular color in order to get them out to people as fast as possible.

@LawProdigy: From an ethical standpoint something is either reasonable or assholish. So yes, there is such a thing as warranty-abuse. It's when you take advantage of a generous warranty policy to subject the company that instituted it to death by a thousand cuts.
