Here is my last years costume. The dress was purchased but I did the make up myself. the front part of the head piece I bought. The top I made. I spraypainted plastic snakes and wired them to a headband. I pinned a bunch in my hair. A lot of people didn't recognize me.

This is high on my list. I loved scary movies and my parents always let me watch them. Well, my mom did, my dad HATES scary movies. I knew it wasn't real and I was fine with most of them but I saw this when I was really little, probably about the age Carol Ann is supposed to be. Scared me like nothing else.

He always comes off as a genuinely nice, cool guy.

Labyrinth is not good. Labyrinth is wonderful. So is Bowie. Always Bowie.

Lost Boys is AWESOME!

I made my husband read Guts a long time ago. I think he is still mad at me.

Those drawings are some of the scariest things ever put to page.

There is an unfortunate lack of 1980s vamps here.

I don't think it is a deliberate thing, that is just the Tim Mison effect.

I actually really like the way they are handling it. He examines something and either figures it out or ditches it. If they spent too much time on his amazement at the modern world it would get old. Little bits here and there are good. "Spackle away"

Don't burn it! Give it to me!

Some friends and I did that once! I was Miss Scarlet with the pipe.

Yeah I think we killed it.

Nothing like a big smoldering pile of anaphylactic shock.

When my husband and I were looking for our first house I wanted to look for a murder house to get a good deal. He failed to see the brilliance of my plan.

Very true.

Ok, don't you think that if you lived in Haven, where you knew weird shit goes down, and you hear a strange laugh and your kid says "that's my new friend"; would you not freak out and grab the kid and get out of town?

It's a classic!

This looks terrible...

I have been looking forward to this since I first heard about it!
