Stargate Universe. It really struggled in the beginning, but the last half of the last season (the 2nd? I think) was getting excellent. It ended just as it was finding its footing and coming into its own.

I can't even express how upsetting this is. He was one of my favorite authors and I have read and re-read the Discworld books countless times. The characters he created always felt like old friends, and each read was a welcome visit. My baby is only 4 Months but I've been reading them out loud to her from the start.
