I love the book, and surprisingly the movie manages to capture a lot of the sense of dread and slow build that the book creates. No gore, no jump scares no impressive effects. Just good acting and subtle scares.

Thank you! I spent most of Paranormal Activity waiting for the obnoxious people,to just die already.
The Exorcist still manages to be scary. It's this claustrophobic feeling that even if you are not religious (like me) it still stays with you .
I like mine with just a tiny splash of cream. Can't stand it sweet.
Those are so cute. My man is always cold, I bet he would wear footie jammies.
meh, either way.
I should have known!
I'm LA too, well the valley, and I CANNOT wait for it to get nice and chilly. It can hit the 30's sometimes. YAY!
If it's over 70 I'm complaining that it's too hot. I live in Los Angeles too, so that's tough. Actually my husband gets cold. Maybe he needs one of these.
I think it might be Lovecraft. It makes sense with him having tea with Cthulhu and fits in with the other horror authors. But it would have been nice to have seen Serling in there too.
It was so good. I was very upset that there was no more after the one season.
Well I did love Wonder Woman. But I mostly wanted to be a super villain. I can't be the only one who thought Malificent from Sleeping Beauty was awesome.
I would melt. I usually sleep in shorts and tank top. When it's cold I still sleep in a tank top and pajama pants. My husband keeps turning on the heat in winter and I keep turning it off or at least down. And I almost never wear anything with long sleeves.
Those are so cool. But I get the feeling I would be way too warm in them.
Same here. But I'm picky about what I will lend and who I will lend to. Not just the "dark" stuff but other random costuming.
Hey remember when MTV showed music videos?
It really is. Sometimes even more so. Ooey gooey cheesy wonderfulness.
I know, but at the same time I'm glad they went out on a high note and didn't make some horrible horrible miniseries.
Yes. He was just awful. His character was pointless and the actor was just wooden and zero chemistry.
This is my pick too.
