I am with you 100% on this list.
I am with you 100% on this list.
Yea I thought that the dude running the FB page was posting the #hotsportstake because it was funny. But then again this post could be a #hotsportstake of Coach K's Facebook page, which my reaction shows how humorless I really am.
Yesssss. Then they give the bullshit reason of "well, we needed a community tax base" to improve the area. Or the other "we can't put nice things here because it would get destroyed or robbed blaahhhhh". Ignoring the fact that there were many working families of color paying taxes to the local and state government,…
That doesn't have anything to do with what Spike Lee is talking about.
Hell yea Spike Lee.
This. I anticipating this affecting Black players a hell of a lot more than other races. Like how when the Laugh Factory banned the N word after the Michael Richards incident, and one of the Wayans brothers was the first comedian banned from the LF for using it.
I could be mistaken, but isn't the majority of NFL Players Black? At least at the skill positions?
You should read "40 Million Dollar Slaves". I am not for comparing the plight of NFLers to slaves, but the treatment of players in certain sports they have a majority concentration of Blacks continues to perpetuate the framework of exploitation seen in American slavery.

My prayers are with Miles O Brien.
Yuppppppp

The Trans community is suffering from the same diversity issues as models of color, models of larger/curvier sizes, etc. Tim Gunn tried to make a point about diversity in an…
*eye roll
There are are so much mental gymnastics going on in defending Tim Gunn's comments, idk what to do.
But why dismiss Transgender women from modeling women's clothes? I'm not doubting his previous commitment to diversity, but it would be remiss for people to not criticize his comments regarding Trans models as ignorant.
THIS.
Also on Jezebel: where people get mad at another rape survivor's interpretation and internalization of their own rape. (I.e you)
You should not judge her statement at all. That is how she coped with and processed a obviously terrifying and horrible and violating experience. The fact that you are so judgmental of her comments shows a selfishness and self-absorption on your part, especially if you're not a victim of sexual assault and rape.
I know. Dude for real sold out. Evolution of RT is such a good album.
Sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese and grape jelly. Thank me later.
