I believe shows like Say Yes To The Dress and many of the home buying/renovating shows on HGTV have been very good for “normalizing” LGTB couples. They just straightforwardly introduce people as “Lisa and Janet, and their son Aiden” or whatever. No explanations or apologies.

I love this show so much. It’s always body-positive and has featured a number of same-sex couples on the show. Love it.
