Deleted from my Stray Observations (by the way, most of my deleted stuff for this episode will become a piece about this show and class relations ):

Not to mention Cheryl had that weird incest-y vibe with Jason, and she turned out to be bi/lesbian. Having the two lgbt characters flirting with something that gross and unnatural says a lot about the writers

Rock bottom is said ad for the app featuring Josie, The Riverdale Ghost.

Leave it to Cheryl to turn the scream queen trope of stupidly running up the stairs from the killer on its head. And then after she’s already basically episode MVP, she still shows up to save Toni and just seem happy to be there for the whole serpent meeting. They obviously still give her some pretty questionable

The one bit that really didn’t land for me was Weatherby turning into Joe Clark out of nowhere. Really got the feeling they wrote themselves into a corner with that little rumble and panicked as the deadline approached.

I assume the other hood is someone working for Hiram to sow chaos.

And she didn’t have to do a creepy dance to do it!

I love that Cheryl is apparently a Serpent now (she voted in favor of the brawl with the Ghoulies!) Sure, why not. Toni joined the Vixens, Cheryl should join her club too. Girlfriends should do stuff together.

This episode had no right to be as coherent as it was, considering the number of different plots colliding.

Damn this episode was good. That entire sequence between Betty, Alice and Hal was amazing. I’ve always loved the Cooper family dynamic the best and holy hell did this episode deliver so well on that. Hal being the Black Hood is predictable but that’s okay just to see it play out so well.

I am a little disturbed though that the black student seems to be playing the victim.

I would agree with everything you said accept saying that race isn’t as much an issue. Speaking as as Black man, when you enter (White) spaces that people think you don’t belong in, you would have no idea how odd, ignorant or outright volatile they react.

no dude, she’s an awful person and a genuine burden on everyone who has to put up with her, and I’d imagine from your post that you are too. Try not to call the police on your neighbors TOO often this week, you might strain your aching concern for others that just happens to manifest in inconvenience to everyone who

Exactly. The world is so upside down since Trump, things you thought were satire could be the words of some people.

all the stars (are closer).

If we allow black women to sleep, then we allow black women to dream. Can’t have that.

Seriously. That’s a lot of work for a nap.

I am 100% ok with the measures that these fine officers were forced to take. We all have to remember that America isn’t as safe as it used to be. How do we all forget all of the (so goddamn many! Seriously google them!!) fatherless Black women and men who have shot up elementary schools, high schools, movie

False reporting is a crime, but not for white people...I am damn tired of this shit.

These kinds of obviously dubious calls to law enforcement by irrational people like Siyonbola’s neighbor should, at the very least, be a misdemeanor infraction and/or a fine.
